– effortless way to fundraise for our own WI whilst doing your shopping
online.  Just download the app
(search “easyfundraising” in the app store and it is the first app to come
up).  Once registered, you can
nominate Trumps Green WI as your “cause”, and then shop online with stores such
as John Lewis, Marks and Spencer, Amazon, and so many others.  A percentage of your spend is donated
to TGWI and it can build up surprisingly quickly.

February, 8 p.m. This will be hosted by Sonia. 
We will be discussing "Elizabeth is Missing" by Emma Healey.

 

 

OUR NEXT WI
MEETING, Wednesday, 28th February  The
Curious Disappearance of Glenn Miller by Tony Eaton – this meeting is open to
guests.   Refreshments:  Ladies on Duty for the February Meeting: Ann Banks, Jo Bayliss, Anne Bennett.  If someone is unable to do the
teas/coffees, please try and find a substitute or contact Helen Vincent

MAKING HANDMADE CHOCOLATES FOR VALENTINES DAY, Monday,12th
February 2018, at the Community Centre, 7pm – 9.30pm with Sara
from Sara Jane Chocolates.  Everything needed for the chocolate making
party is provided and that includes aprons.  Soft drinks and a fresh fruit
skewer drizzled in chocolate will also be enjoyed during the event. Educational subsidy
of £3 by TGWI, cost will be £30.00 per person.  Maximum of 15 people. NOW FULL.

 

PROGRAMME
PLANNING MEETING, Thursday 15th February at the Community Centre,
6.30 – 7.30p.m.  The committee are starting
to plan the 2019 programme and would love you to get involved. We are therefore
holding a planning meeting and if you would like to help with ideas please put
your name on the clipboard and come along and join us.

 

 

SURREY
FEDERATION CENTENARY ANNUAL COUNCIL MEETING Monday 19th March at
Dorking Halls 10.15 – 3.30pm (doors open at 9.00)  Dickie
Arbiter, Royal commentator and formerly Press Spokesman for HM Queen is the
main speaker, plus a speaker from RHS Wisley together with other speakers and
entertainment.  There will be some
business and retail stalls – including the opportunity to purchase exclusive Surrey Centenary mugs, pens and tea towels.  This will be a very special Council
Meeting and at a cost of £16, a very special day out.

 

OUR
TGWI SPRING COFFEE MORNING, Saturday 24th March at Christchurch,
10a.m.-12 noon. Please do support us
as this means the more money we raise the more we can subsidise our outings and
workshops.  There is a clipboard
for you to either confirm if you are able to bake or donate.

 

WI
CENTENARY PARTY Friday 11th May, Chertsey Hall, 7.00 – 10.30pm.   Tickets are £10 and there will be
a band, raffle, etc.  Please put
your name on the clipboard.
