MAKING HANDMADE CHOCOLATES FOR VALENTINES DAY, Monday,12th
February 2018 with Sara from Sara Jane Chocolates. Venue
TBC, but hopefully Thorpe Community Hall. 7pm-9.30pm.  Everyone will
make a box of 12 chocolate truffles and you will start by piping your
pre-selected truffle filling(s) into a combination of open and closed truffle
shells.  After sealing the truffle shells with chocolate you will enjoy a
demonstration of how to hand dip your truffles in vats of dark, milk and white
chocolate.  A variety of decorating techniques will be demonstrated before
you decide how to decorate your own individual truffles.  The techniques
include applying drizzled chocolate, adding bling with an amazing selection of
coloured edible glitters, rolling your truffles to create a spiky effect, using
professional coloured cocoa butter transfers and adding edible toppings such as
freeze dried fruits, chocolate curls, toffee etc.  At the end of the event
everyone will take home their own fabulous box of truffles.

Everything
needed for the chocolate making party is provided and that includes aprons.  Soft
drinks and a fresh fruit skewer drizzled in chocolate will also be enjoyed
during the event. Educational subsidy of £3 by TGWI, cost will be
£30.00 per person.  Maximum of
