Magna Carta Pennant made by some of the ladies of Trumps Green WI

 Made by members of TGWI - Jean Smith and Pauline Oldridge.
1. Who had the design ideas and creation of the finished Pennant!
 2. Feb 2014. Design agreed on Runnymede icons theme:-
a) Lutyens designed Pavilions marking the official entrance to Runnymede Meadows and
b) The Commwealth Air Forces Memorial, Oak leaves, River Thames and
c) Heraldic shields of two of the Magna Carta Barons - Richard de Percy and Saha de Quincy, Earl of Winchester.
   OK'd by  Egham Museum.
3. Spring 2014. Materials purchased and work divided equally between Jean Smith and Pauline Oldridge
4. October 2014.  Meeting at Egham Museum with 7 other Community Groups to share progress.
    Egham WI, Bishopsgate WI, Egham Residents Association. Methodist Church, St. John's Church,
    U3A and Runnymede  DFAS.
5. Completed Jan 2015 and displayed at February WI meeting with the Magna Carta talk by Dr.Matthew Smith.
Plans to display Pennants at the Magna Carta Exhibition to be held in June this year at United Church and to be part of the Procession in Egham on June 13 Magna Carta Day.
